Who's Who at Fronhofer Tool
You can’t really mention Bill Ellis without mentioning Scott Austin or visa
versa. Two young men, who grew up in the same town, went to the same school,
ended up learning the same trade and working for the same company. And we are
very, very lucky it was our company that they each chose.
Bill
and Scott both started working for us in the spring of 1998; in the fall of 2000
we asked them if they would head up a third shift for us. It was done on a trial
basis and they loved it; having all the freedom to make decisions that would
otherwise have to be made by supervisors on first shift. They have ‘rose to
the occasion’ and for the first time made third shift a true success. Bill
completed his apprenticeship in two years with HVCC in a program that normally
takes four. Scott is still traveling to school twice a week and has one year
left before he completes his apprenticeship. To say that these two are dedicated
would be a gross understatement. Anytime we (as a company) have requested any
additional work or flexibility from them, they have always come through for us
and have given us the impression that they are happy to do it. Finding one
employee with such attributes would be a great deal for our company but finding
two at once was just plain lucky.
Bill and Scott also enjoy many of the same hobbies such as auto mechanics,
four wheeling, snowmobile riding, hunting and bowling.
