Colleen Converse
Need For Multimedia Personnel Growing
at Fronhofer Tool
By Paul Fronhofer
Five years ago I would have never dreamed that today we would
have the need for a multimedia person. Colleen Converse joined our company two
years ago as a back up for our office manager, Heidi deJong. In her spare time,
Colleen started to dabble with projects such as our newsletter and website.
Today she dedicates most of her spare time to editing the next edition of our
newsletter as well as updating, modifying and adding to our website.
Through our website, customers can check on the status of their stocked parts
and potential employees can apply for a job. For a glimpse of what Colleen has
already accomplished, view our website at www.FronhoferTool.com.
Colleen is a 1991 graduate of Saugerties high school. She went on to graduate
from Cornell in 1996 with a degree in plant science. Her interests involve
remodeling her new house, agriculture, dancing, reading, bowling… the list
goes on. It is obvious that Colleen is a well rounded person, she in fact
exemplifies the epitome of a model employee. We are all very pleased to have
such a warm professional person to work with.

Keeping Business Local
With the wide variety of needs at Fronhofer Tool, it is nice to support a
local vendor as they provide for us. One such business is Salem Precision Tool,
owned by Tim Gleason who established the company in 1984. This company services
a wide variety of the industrial cutting tool needs with fast turnarounds and
high quality at a competitive price.
A specialty service provided by Salem Precision Tool is the grinding and
repairing of milling tools in carbide and H.S.S. Almost any configuration from
simple end mills to complicated step tooling is not a problem for Tim. Along
with the regrinding service, he offers cylindrical and surface grinding of parts
for both long and short runs.
We appreciate the chance to lower our costs by reusing tooling and especially
the chance to have a working relationship with a local company.
